Full view, por favor. And it looks so much better in real life. My scanner sucks awesomeness out of things. Grrrr.
Whew. This was fun. This is.....I still havent thought up a name yet, but I believe this is my first drawing character dude. He just kinda happened. And he wasn't supposed to look asian, but it just came out that way. He didn't look like that when I drew him in pencil, but when I inked him in his eyes just...did things of their own accord. I guess it was just meant to be. So, yeah, this is my as yet unnamed shapeshifting harpy. My clever little play on words, as he's a harpy eagle.....ha....ha....*crickets chirping* Yeah. I thought it was cool.
So, this was something of a collaberation, even if I was the only one aware of it. It all started out when I was checking my deviations on the deviant watch, and saw CunningFox's thing that said mini contest. Me, being curious, clicked on it, and was inspired to make my self a fursona for her contest. I wanted to draw a kudu, because I've used them for other things, and plus their just cool, but I found out I really suck at drawing kudu's. The several doomed attempts I made came out looking like mutated retared cows that someone had stuck barber poles through their foreheads. Then I started trying to think of another animal....and long story short, I decided on a harpy eagle. They're pretty. So, I was gonna start, but then I started thinking..harpy....hmmmm. Then I decided to draw a shapeshifting doomadad, but realized that I was out of practice on drawing hot muscley torso's. So then I found ImageC0rrupt3d's tutorial on anatomy, which was creepy, cuz I had just been looking through her gallery. Then I realized that I kinda suck at wings, and went searching for another tutorial. Thanks a billion to kalicothekat for her awesomely amazing Feathered Wing Tutorial!! Whoo. And another thanks to Jubliations for her Q&A, and her link to Snigom's awesome Face Patterns tutorial, which has ayudame muchas on my faces.
I think this guy is one of my best pieces, in the respect that everything fits together like it should. I love his pose too. It's all tough guy, like, "What? What you say to me, huh? You wanna bring? All right, bring it on, biatch!!" Yeah. His left foot is retarded. I'll fix it later. any suggestions on how to fix it?
Again, thanks a bunch to CunningFox, ImageC0rrupt3d, kalicothekat, Snigom, Jubilations, and.....anyone else. I drew most of this while watching Bulletproof Monk....then Hellboy. Mrar. Hellboy makes me happy. The second one comes out today....and I WANNA SEE IT!! But I can't so, sigh. I think I've rambled enough, and I must go work on summer assignments. *die*
This is taking freakin long to upload. I'm gonna shoot my computer.
I might add a background later, but knowing me, I'll probably be too lazy. I'm actually surprised I finished it. Dang, I wrote aLOT on this....
Can I just say... THAT THIS IS SO FREAKING AMAZING!!!!?
OMEC! I mean, really. Psshawwwwwwww! It's a harpy dude hottness garblegarble hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaa okay so maybe I'm tired.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm featuring a little part of the deviant community ! Asked few days ago, and requested everyone to show me their 3 favourites photos in their own gallery, and the 3 most popular!
So, here is it.
Follow me if you want to be in the next feature, I'll create a new poll for it soon!
